Jennifer Yen - The villainess actress, the founder, the mom, and now the Momtrepreneur. Jennifer Yen began her career playing a villainess on the Power Rangers TV show. After the bright lights and stage makeup took a toll on her skin, she launched her own skincare brand, Purlisse, using Asian ingredients her grandmother used to use growing up. After giving birth to her daughter, Gemma, Jennifer launched YENSA, remembering that she and her family had always lived a Superfood lifestyle. “This lead me to start YENSA (inspired by last name, meaning Color + Face in Chinese) the SuperFood Cosmetic - it's Cosmetics meets SuperFood Science. Each product is infused with 8 Superfoods (8 representing good luck, prosperity and infinite possibilities in Chinese culture).” says Jennifer. “But my proudest moment to date is launching our YENSA BC Foundation in partnership with Dress for Success for #YourHourHerPower, featuring 8 amazing superwomen.” To see how Jennifer #LivesHerYen, watch here!
