Is YENSA suitable for very sensitive skin?

Yes, all YENSA products have been formulated with your sensitivities in mind, while also remaining an excellent choice for anyone (even those less sensitive) who wants to respect their skin with pure, safe ingredients. We use Superfoods and natural extracts at effective levels and avoid potentially harsh ingredients such as parabens, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, phthalates, and animal by-products. If you do suffer from a particular ingredient allergy, please carefully read through the ingredient list on each product. Our products are all tested against allergies and FDA-approved.

Are YENSA products safe for moms-to-be?

Yes, YENSA products are safe and effective for pregnant women. We understand that during your most beautiful time, you might feel not so beautiful. Women go through drastic hormonal changes while pregnant that can lead to skin problems—increased oiliness, sensitivity, dryness, and dreaded stretch marks. Fortunately, YENSA's products are free of harmful ingredients, making it completely safe to use while pregnant. Discovering the pure and natural ingredients in the entire YENSA collection will help relieve many common skin issues from which pregnant women suffer, making you feel purely beautiful again.

Are YENSA products tested on animals?

No. All YENSA products are not and will never be tested on animals. We do not conduct any testing of ingredients or products on animals. In addition, our products do not contain any animal ingredients.

Does YENSA have sample sizes I can purchase to try out?

Yes, we have deluxe travel size options available for purchase for most of our products. That way, you can try out a product, or bring it along on your next trip, as they are all travel friendly. Signing up for our email list will give you a discount code on first-time purchases.

Is YENSA packaging recyclable?

Yes, our bottles and cartons are almost entirely recyclable. Our carton papers are from managed forests, and we use 100% Wind Energy when we print them.

Is YENSA organic?

No. YENSA products are not organic.

YENSA's approach is to make Natural & Very Effective beauty products. By “Natural & Very Effective” we mean: using skin-safe, time-tested, effective, modern tech-based ingredients that are free from harmful ingredients that can cause skin irritation. We use nature’s great gifts to protect and preserve your skin health. We use the highest quality Superfoods from around the globe, so it naturally contains a high percentage of antioxidant and healing properties. We also use sea algae extracts from the ocean, various kinds of fruits, vegetables and flowers extracts as key ingredients.

As part of our aim to produce natural & very effective products, we believe that sourcing organic essential oils and plant oils wherever possible is worthwhile. We are in the process of developing new products in the very near future.

Can I have an allergic reaction when I use YENSA products?

Allergic reactions to YENSA products do not happen very often. Indeed, if you think you have suffered an allergic reaction, please stop using the product. It is possible that you are allergic some essential oils or other natural ingredients within our formulas. If you suspect you might have a sensitivity, we strongly recommend testing a small amount of product on the inside of your elbow. Are YENSA products suitable for Vegans?

We do not use animal-by ingredients in most of our products. In addition, our products are cruelty free; in other words, they are not tested on animals. For more ingredient information on each product, please review full ingredient list under each product page.

How do I start a return?

When can I expect my refund?

Returns can take up to 10-15 days from the date shipped to arrive at the warehouse and can take up to 3 weeks from the date received to be processed. We'll send you an email once the returned item(s) have been received and another one confirming when your refund has been processed. How Do I make an exchange?

No, we only allow 1 discount code per purchase.

How does TryNow work?

1. Any products ordered through Try Before You Buy are yours to try for 14 days (you'll just pay for shipping).

What payment options do I have for my TryNow order?

You can only use a credit or debit card to check out with TryNow at this time.

Can I use a discount with a TryNow order?

Yes! Valid discount offers apply to both traditional and TryNow purchases. At this time, Shopify doesn't allow for compatibility with buy X get Y discount codes.

When does my trial period start?

TryNow tracks the package and starts the trial upon delivery, at which point you'll receive a notification from TryNow. Note: if your order is shipped in multiple packages your Trial will start when the first package is delivered; you can also extend your trial by emailing our customer experience team to request an extension.

I need more time - can I extend my trial?

No, trials may not be extended.

How do I return items I do not want to purchase?

My trial ended and I was charged but now I want to return something -- is this still possible?

You can return eligible items within our return window! You can follow our standard returns and refund policy.

Why does TryNow place an authorization on my credit card?

Similar to a hotel or rental car company, TryNow authorizes your card to ensure you have the funds available. When you checkout, an authorization for the full amount of your order is placed on your card to reserve funds if you choose to keep your items. An authorization is not the same as a charge in that our systems are strictly ensuring that the card that was provided at checkout is both valid and has the appropriate funds available to cover the cost of any items kept in the future.

I thought TryNow offered a free trial but I see a charge on my card -- canyou help me understand?

TryNow will not charge you for any items until the end of your trial. We do place an authorization on your card for the total amount of your order. This is how we ensure that funds can be captured for items you keep -- it’s just like a hold that hotels or rideshare apps use, and it helps protect us against fraud. The way authorizations display on your statement varies by bank. Typically, authorizations are labeled as “pending” or they will not have a date associated with the charge, indicating that the charge has not yet been posted.

When will the authorization come off of my card?

TryNow will charge and close your order after your trial + several days for any returns to process. At that point, the authorization will drop and you’ll be charged for the items you kept. Depending on your bank, it can take up to 24-48 hours for your statement to update.
