The first superfood introduced into our SuperBlacks Essence is Black Sesame Oil.  This ingredient is great for helping to prevent skin cell oxidation, ultimately helping with anti-aging and reducing fine lines.  This is also a moisturizing ingredient that can aid in repairing damaged skin cells!

Black seaweed is another powerful ingredient for helping with hydration and youthful-looking skin.  Not only this, but it also brightens and soothes the skin!
Black tea is an antioxidant that fights free radicals within the skin, while helping to fight conditions, such as acne.  Additionally, the caffeine in it can aid in minimizing puffiness!

Shiitake mushroom boosts skin radiance by containing a certain antioxidant that helps to exfoliate the skin.  They are a rich source of kojic acid, which are used to brighten the skin, while fading sunspots and acne scars.

Another superblack we use in the BC Foundation is black rice.  I know you might be thinking.. BLACK rice? Yep! Black rice is great with improving the skin’s texture.  It is a great source of antioxidants, specifically Vitamin E, for the skin.
Korean black raspberries are another ingredient that is rich with antioxidants Vitamin C and Vitamin E.  They help to reduce any irritation or inflammation in the skin. Did you know these also have the power when ingested to prevent certain cancers?

Nettle is a superfood that has very calming properties when used on the skin.  It helps with inflammation, reducing redness, and even fights against conditions, such as acne and eczema.
