8 Ways to Use Black Tea

 

1. Say Bye Bye Puffy Eyes 

Are you always on-the-go and lacking sleep? Are your days too busy and nights too short? Whether you are drinking black tea on the way to work, at work, or at home after work, we have a special beauty hack just for you!

How: 
Put two used tea bags warm and wet under your eyes for 10 minutes. Sit back and relax while the tea will helps to diminish dark circles and puffiness and relax the under eye. Leave on longer for an enhanced result. We all have 10 minutes a day to spare!

 

2. Hello Shiny Hair

Are you dealing with dry hair and split ends? Did you know that black tea can help give hair a natural shine? 

How:
Use half a gallon of warm tea as a final rinse after shampooing. Tip: Add the mixture to a spray bottle for ease of use. Leave on for 10 minutes and then rinse again. 

 

3. Create your own Toner 

Create a healthy glow and give skin a boost of hydration with a make your own toner or moisturizer using your recycled black tea.

How: 
You can also apply with a cotton ball and use it as a toner day and night. This will also help remove any excess oil 

 

4. Reduce Redness and Inflammation

Tame your pimple with a recycled tea bag. Leave on for 2-5 minutes to reduce inflammation. The tea will help fight off the impurities that are causing that blemish for you throughout the day

 

5. Shine on!

Clean your dirty pots and pans with a recycled tea bag. 

How:
Fill your dirty pan with hot water and add 2 black tea bags and soak over night. The hot water works with the tea's tannic acide to soften and lift stubborn food particles. Hard part is done, now you will just need to rinse.

 

6. Make your own Face Mist or Setting Spray

Black tea has strong antioxidants that help fight the free radicals that cause aging. It will help to draw out impurities and shrink pores. 

How:
Add a tea bag to warm water in a spray bottle and spray on face twice a day. 

 

7. Feed your plants

The same super nutrients in tea that are good for you are also healthy for your houseplants.

How:
Once cool, you can spread the contents of tea bags around the stems of your plants for an extra dose of minerals.

 

8. Stink No More

Reduce foot odor by giving them a healthy bath for 20 minutes in fresh brewed tea. You can also add dry tea bags to your shoes to soak up moisture and make them refreshed.
