The Inspiration:
After founder Jennifer Yen gave birth to her daughter in 2014, Jennifer noticed a major decline in her health and complexion. Juggling a business and co-parenting her daughter, she became determined to heal herself. Inspired by Asian rituals practiced by her Mother, Grandmother and generations past dating back to 2000 years ago. In doing this, she found her YEN.
Where Did The Name YENSA Come From?
YEN means 'Passion and Desire' in English. Since starting YENSA, Jennifer's YEN remains to create a new era of beauty that combines cosmetics with Superfood science. She also drives to embrace the diversity in beauty today while inspiring people to face the world with confidence and to live their YEN.
