Pineapple, Turmeric & Ginger Slushy

Ginger Superfood Benefits:

-Helps even skin tone

-Can help reduce muscle pain and soreness

-Helps digestion, reduce nausea and help fight the flu and common cold 


Turmeric Superfood Benefits:

-Soothes irritated skin

-Natural anti inflammatory

-May prevent (and possibly help treat) cancer


Ingredients:

-4 cups frozen pineapple chunks

-2 cups of coconut water

-fresh ground ginger

-½ tsp. Kosher salt

¾ tsp. Ground turmeric

 -

Directions:

1. Ground fresh ginger

2. Add frozen pineapple chunks, salt, turmeric, ground ginger and coconut water to blender and blend on high

3. Pour in glass to serve and top with turmeric

Avocado Salad

Avocado Superfood Benefits:


-High in fiber

-Avocados are a great source of vitamins C, E, K and B-6

Ingredients:

-Spring Greens Mix

-Avocado

-Cherry Tomatoes 

-Half a Lemon

-Basil

-Cheese of choice

-Balsamic Vinegar

Mozzarella Pearls


Directions: 

1. Rinse vegetables

2. Lay vegetables out to dry

3. Cut tomatoes in quarters

4. Chop basil

5. Remove avocado pit and slice it

6. Add all ingredients onto a plate

7. Top with fresh lemon juice and balsamic vinegar

Grapefruit & Banana Superfood Smoothie

Grapefruit Superfood Benefits:

-Provides nutrients but does not have a significant negative impact on a person’s blood sugar levels

-Grapefruit is low in calories but very rich in nutrients. It is also an excellent source of vitamins A & C

Ingredients: 

-2 Red Grapefruits

-2 Bananas

-Fresh orange to squeeze

-3 Tbsp Greek Yogurt

-

Directions:

1. Peel and slice grapefruit in half

2. Slice Banana

3. Add grapefruit and banana to blender

4. Squeeze orange into blender

5. Blend on high

6. Pour in glass and enjoy!
